A Message For You
I  hope  these  thoughts  reach  you  with  your mind  and  body  wrapped  in
God’s  grace.
"Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health on my
countenance,and my God."
Psalm 42:11

Optimism (hope) and confidence (faith) defines one who always overcomes.
Sometimes life's experiences and circumstances put us on a roller coaster of
emotional distress and mood swings.  In times like these, we may be confused
about our relationship with God.  However, it is also in these times that we can
be encouraged by remembering who we are, whose we are, how far we've
been brought and how our lives have been blessed by those relationships that
lift our spirits.

Pity parties, chronic cases of "Me"-itis ("why do these things always happen to
me?"), and insatiable desires to know "why" can strike those who are not
rooted in God's words "
I will never leave you or forsake you".  Hope anticipates
that God will act.  When hope returns and God's past, present and future help is
acknowledged, faith is resurrected.  When faith is resurrected, we long to
praise The Lord.  God lives in the midst of our praises and worshippers sense
His presence - His comfort.  Thus, a victorious cycle of hope and help
increases faith that can overcome all doubt and depression.

Our challenge is to remember the primary purpose of our lives - to display
God's wisdom.  Our prayer should be one of thanks to God for being the shelter
from life's troubles.  Hold on to your faith.  This will honor God and help you.
