A Message For You
| I hope these thoughts reach you with your mind and body wrapped in God’s grace. |
“...And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that The Father may be
glorified in The Son." John 14:13
Everyone has a specific called task. Exactly what we are supposed to do and our
qualifications for doing it is constantly questioned, by ourselves and others. The
uneasiness felt from this, as well as the opposition encountered on the journey,
is not a rarity. However, answers, security, and hope are provided in abundance
by The One Who Knows All, if we simply ask.
He is prepared to give a new “vision” to those blinded by a lack of faith, if we are
willing to choose to make ourselves dependent only on Him to provide what is
needed to secure our future. Breaking the old barriers oftentimes means leaving
the “comfort zone”. Once this is done, our mission to fulfill our God-given destiny
starts. And just as His Son was totally focused on His mission, we should be
totally focused on ours. What we fail to realize is that our destiny is directly tied to
fulfilling our God-ordained calling. And when He calls us to fulfill a task, we can
be sure that He will be there to “order our steps”. Qualifications are not the issue,
choosing to accept His call and walk into a destiny He created for us is.
Our challenge is to remember that God performs His work for all people through
His children – His hands and feet. Our prayer should be for guidance, strength,
humility and sacrifice of time and self in accepting His invitation. We must always
remember, God does not call the qualified for a task – He qualifies the called.
